Oral Surgery Background Information

Oral and maxillofacial surgery is concerned with the diagnosis and treatment of various conditions relating to the mouth and jaw area. Each oral surgeon is required to complete a minimum of four years of additional hospital-based training in surgery and anesthesia after leaving dental school. This allows Dr. Fleischmann to use his expertise to treat you safely and comfortably in-office, regardless of the condition.

Dr. Fleischmann helps patients address problems associated with wisdom teeth, facial pain and alignment of the jaws. He places dental implants, treats those suffering from facial injuries, cares for oral cancer patients, and also performs facial cosmetic surgery. He is invested in each patient’s comfort and to maintaining long-term oral health and function.

Surgical Staff

Our surgical staff is thoroughly trained to assist with the administration of local and IV sedation. They are well versed in health and insurance policies, CPR certified, and continuously update their knowledge.
